As the Belgian government prepares for the mandatory use of electronic invoicing via the Peppol network starting on 1 January 2026, they have issued an official list of registered software solutions to help businesses comply with the new requirements.
The listed software solutions allow businesses to send, receive, and process structured electronic invoices directly in their accounting systems. Some companies may already have the necessary functionality integrated into their current invoicing or accounting software, ensuring they are ready for the upcoming mandate.
However, for those who don't yet have the appropriate software, the list provides a variety of options:
Send only: Software that allows businesses to send electronic invoices.
Send and receive: Solutions capable of both sending and receiving e-invoices.
Fully integrated: Software that integrates electronic invoices directly into accounting systems for streamlined processing.
Software vendors whose products are not yet listed can register via the official registration form to be added to the list of compliant solutions, ensuring their software is recognized and available to businesses preparing for the new e-invoicing obligations.
